  Lectures on Offer

I began lecturing publicly in 1966, and consequently have built up an extensive repertoire of lectures. The following are the lectures I can offer. Please note that all those lectures or groups of talks marked with an asterisk can be expanded into Study Days, or lectures expanded to full days of intensive exploration of a subject. The Beethoven and Mahler talks require sound equipment.

I can offer thirty lectures on Turner, all of which can also be given as Study Days. They include 'The Life and Works of Turner', 'The Great Watercolours', 'Turner on the Southern Coast of England', '...on the East Coast', '...in the Midlands', '...in the North of England', '...in Wales', '... in Scotland', '...in the Alps', '... in Switzerland', '...in Venice', '...and the Sea', 'Turner's Human Landscape', etc.
